Immigration Reform 2.0

I’ve heard it stated that there are anywhere from ten to twenty MILLION illegal Mexicans here in the US and #libtards want to give them amnesty similar to 1986. Yes, Reagan signed the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986. Edwin Meese opines here that Reagan would not make a similar mistake today for the reasons stated therein. I agree.

We are at war. Not with the Mexican people but with the narco-terrorists transporting drugs and OTM’s or those referred to as “other than Mexicans” across the border. We would be very lucky if these narco-terrorists aren’t already staging in San Diego, Phoenix, Flagstaff, Las Vegas, Albuquerque, Midland, San Antonio and other major cities close to the border. To these narco-terrorists money is no object, they already have more than they need or want. What they want now is power. How difficult would it be for these narco-terrorists to purchase 20 homes in Las Vegas, where the real estate market is in the toilet, and stock them to the rafters with drugs, money, arms and explosives arming an insurgency? Oh, and for you anti-gun #libtards, I can assure you that their firearms weren’t purchased legally. They like the automatic type that is extremely difficult to purchase and highly regulated here in the US. They’ll purchase these homes with the next best thing to cash, a wire transfer. They’ll pay property taxes, obey our laws and bide their time to strike. When they do, you #libtards had better hope that the 200 million gun owners in this country aren’t too lazy to get off their dead asses to swarm the border because we’re going to need every red blooded American on the front line. Or we’ll lose the southwest quadrant, including southern California, of this great country.

Regardless, my version of Immigration Reform 2.0 is:

  1. Secure the border. Let contracts to multiple competent contractors within 60 days to complete a fence across the Mexican-US border within 180 days of the contracts’ award. Stipulate lucrative bonuses for the contractors that complete their work on time or ahead of schedule and severe liquidated damages for those that don’t. Securing the border and ramping up the Border Patrol and ICE will keep out the majority of the narco-terrorists.
  2. If you’re an illegal Mexican here in the US, you’re in but it won’t be as easy as 1986.
  3. If you’ve broken the law in your time here, you’re in handcuffs, on a bus and you’re out – deported. Your crossing the border illegally was the only free pass you’ll get.
  4. You have 90 days to register for temporary resident status. Period. If you don’t register, you’re out – deported.
  5. That temporary resident status gives you 12 months to apply for a Green Card or permanent resident status that is valid for five (5) years. Failure to apply for and obtain permanent resident status will result in, you guessed it, deportation.
  6. Within those six years and three months you need to apply for and obtain Citizenship. Period. Failure to do any of the above and it’s a pair of chrome bracelets and a bus ride back to the mother land.
  7. Being convicted of a crime, any crime other than a minor traffic violation, within those 75 months results in a free ride back to, you guessed it again, the mother land.
  8. You will get a real job, not one that pays cash.
  9. You will pay taxes just like the rest of us. To pay for securing the border and the increased demands on Federal and State governments you will incur a 10 percent surcharge tax – that’s the price for coming here illegally in the first place. Only once you obtain Citizenship will you have the right to the pursuit of happiness and that pesky 10 percent surcharge is done, over, finished. Until then it won’t be easy and you’d better be prepared to work your ass off.
  10. You will not pay into Social Security nor will you or any of your relatives ever receive a penny of Social Security. Most of us pay into Social Security for 50 years before we collect a dime. Why would we allow you Citizenship at say the age of 55, 60 or 65 and allow you to be a drain on the system for possibly 20 or 30 years?
  11. You will not pay unemployment insurance because unemployment will not be paid to you. Most of us never collect a penny of unemployment but those that do are a huge drain on the individual states. You will not be allowed to get into a continuous cycle of working then going onto unemployment for the maximum time allowed then going back to work. We’ve seen too many people sucking the public teat dry and you will not be part of it.
  12. You are not, nor will you ever be, eligible for Medicare, Medicaid, welfare, housing assistance, food stamps or government assistance of any kind – for your entire time here in America.
  13. You will pay for your own medical costs. If your mother is dying of cancer you can pay for it yourself or you send her back to the mother land for treatment.
  14. You will learn to speak our version of the English language and assimilate into American culture. We like Taco Bell, its fast food, cheap and easy, if you’re offended please return to the mother land. If you think you can do better, please give it a shot.
  15. You are welcome to start your own business and become rich, just do it legally.
  16. We are America, the melting pot of the world. Millions have come here before you and have obtained the Holy Grail – American Citizenship. If you want to become an American, you are welcome here. If you want to work, pay your own way and make your mark on this planet legally, you are welcome here. America is the world’s greatest experiment in freedom, join us. Become one of us and learn that hard work results in immeasurable rewards – your progeny will thank you long after you’re gone.
  17. If you can’t abide by any of the above, pack your one bag and start walking south, your ass isn’t welcome here.

You’re thinking “Burnt, you’re a hard core Constitutional Conservative, how can you be willing to allow people that have broken our laws Citizenship?” I can trace the entrance of my family, on my paternal side, into this great Republic back to 1865. Did we do it legally? I don’t have a clue. I do know that yours truly, my parents, my grandparents and great grandparents have lived in this great Republic legally and have earned our/their way. None of us were ever rich and I doubt that there will be any books written about us. But that’s what makes us great, we are the dream come true, America.

Most of Conservative America would think that the stipulations that I’ve written above are reasonable but the #libtards won’t. We, the Red States, control this country whether the Blue States want to acknowledge it or not. This issue is ours to decide in 2011, let’s find the best way to solve the problem. What will it cost us to deport 10 or 20 million Mexican illegals? I don’t even want to try to wrap my head around that one. Yes, we as a country have done it in the past. Do we have the testicular fortitude to do it again? I doubt it.

I live in the southwest US, a family bought a burned out shell of a house down the street and turned it into something livable. Now it looks better than some of the other homes on the street. He doesn’t speak much English but works seven days a week. They’re quiet, keep to themselves and are nice; in my estimation they’re trying to live the American dream. How can we, as God fearing Americans, tell these hard working honest people that they must return to the cesspool known as Mexico if they’re willing to do what I’ve proposed above?
